6. Booking and Payments
Booking: To book a session, clients must complete the contact form on the Site or directly email us. A non-refundable deposit may be required to confirm the booking, with the remaining balance due before the date of the photography session.
Payments: Payments for services may be made via credit card only. Payment terms, including due dates and amounts, will be outlined in the service contract or invoice.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Lifestyle Sessions: Cancellations for lifestyle sessions are accepted; however, the deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
Weddings: For wedding photography sessions, the deposit will not be refunded, even in the case of cancellation. This is to compensate for the potential loss of business due to the reserved date. If you need to reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find an alternative date, subject to availability.
Specific terms and conditions regarding cancellations and rescheduling will be included in the service contract.
7. Client Rights and Usage of Photos
Ownership: The photographs taken during a session remain the property of ShirLee Photography LLC, and we retain the right to use the images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the website, social media, and marketing materials.
Usage License: Clients will receive a digital or physical copy of the photos and are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as printing and sharing. Commercial use of the photos requires explicit permission and may involve additional fees.
Image Edits: We do not offer additional editing services beyond our standard editing included in the packages. Furthermore, clients are not permitted to alter, edit, or modify any images provided by ShirLee Photography LLC. Any edits or alterations to the images by third parties are strictly prohibited to preserve the integrity and quality of the work.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShirLee Photography LLC and its employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid for the specific service related to the claim.
